Josiah Whitney's regt; company receipt for advance pay for 1 month, etc., dated Point Shirley, June 13, 1776; also, Private, same co. and regt; service from May 10, 1776, 4 days prior to marching, to Nov. 1, 1776, 5 mos. 22 days; roll dated Camp at Hull; also, same co. and regt; pay roll for Nov., 1776, allowing 1 mo. 4 days service, including travel (75 miles) home; also, Capt. Abraham Batcheller's co., Col. Jonathan Holman's regt; service, 43 days; company marched to Providence, R. I., on an alarm in Dec., 1776.¹ He married Tabitha Fletcher in 1780 at Sutton, Massachusetts.

     Tabitha died at Berlin Hights, Erie, Ohio. Tabitha was born in 1763 at Sutton, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Eleazer Fletcher and Lucy Leland. She married Emerson Hall in 1780 at Sutton, Massachusetts.

     He married Mary Keeny. Mariner was born in 1745.¹ He was the son of Mariner Rood and Mary Cornish. Mariner died on 14 January 1832.

     She married Mariner Rood. Mary was born in 1749.¹ Mary died on 14 August 1811.

     James was born on 2 March 1721/22 at Wethersfield, Connecticut.^1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas Goodrich and Hannah Reynolds. He married Susannah Hale on 15 October 1745 at Glastonbury, Connecticut.⁴ James was present at Thomas Goodrich'S christening on 18 November 1753 at Middletown, Massachusetts.^5,4 He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1790 at Lanesboro, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.⁶ James had his will probated on 15 July 1812.⁶ James died circa 1815 at Lanesboro, Massachusetts.⁶

     Susannah was born on 21 March 1722/23 at Glastonbury, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Hale and Susannah Smith. She married James Goodrich on 15 October 1745 at Glastonbury, Connecticut.² Susannah was present at Thomas Goodrich's christening on 18 November 1753 at Middletown, Massachusetts.^3,2

     Susan Clarke was born circa 1815 at New York.^1,2 She was the daughter of Samuel Clarke and Rhoda Waugh.

     Polly Clarke was born in 1806 at Triangle, Broome, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Clarke and Rhoda Waugh. Polly Clarke married Marcus Hart Jr.¹ Polly Clarke was buried in 1902 at Oak Grove, Oak Grove, Livingston, Michigan.¹ She died in 1902.¹

     Ogden Clarke married Jane (?).¹ Ogden Clarke was born in 1793 at Connecticut.^2,1 He died in 1861 at Flushing, Genesse, Michigan. He was buried in 1961 at City of Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, Genesse, Michigan.²

     Samuel Clarke Jr. was born at Connecticut. He was the son of Samuel Clarke and Rhoda Waugh. Samuel Clarke Jr. died in 1843 at Genesee Twp, Michigan.¹

     The Township record shows that Alexander married Elizabeth Throop 12 February 1766, and that families of her name still live, near what was known for upward of 170 years as the Waugh farm.
      In 1767, Dan Waugh, first child of Alexander, was born in Litchfield, also Norman, Freeman, Irene, Rhoda, Elizabeth, and no further mention is made of Alexander, but from record of Dan Waugh, preserved, states Alexander moved from Litchfield to Camden, Oneida County, NY about 1800, traveling with horses and wagon. Whether Alexander and all his children came to New York at the same time is unknown. He and his wife are buried at Hamilton, NY.
Capt. was born in 1729.¹ He was the son of John Waugh and Margaret NN----. He married Elizabeth Throop on 12 February 1766.² Capt. died on 5 April 1810 at Hamilton, Madison County, New York.³

     Elizabeth was born on 10 January 1747/48 at Lebanon or New London, Connecticut.^1,2 She was the daughter of Joseph Throop and Deborah Buell. She married Capt. Alexander Waugh on 12 February 1766.³ Elizabeth died in September 1807 at Hamilton, Madison County, New York, at age 59.

     
      The Revolutionary War Record of Jason(?) Baker, shows that his is listed from Pomfret, Connecticut, as serving from April 20 to May under Lt. Col. Israel Putnam, "for the relief of Boston in the Lexington alarm" of April 1775; that he served as a private from Killingly, Connecticut in Capt. Wm. Smith's Company of Col. J. Douglass' Regt. (21st) Connecticut troops, entering the service September 7, 1776 marching 272 miles to join the American Army being discharged Nov. 20, 1776 and that "A return of that part of the 11th Regt. in Killingly Connecticut" dated Killingly March 10, 1778 and signed Willm Danielson, Col., Lists "Jonas Baker (Detached to serve until January)". Jonas died. Jonas was born in August 1751 at Killingly, Connecticut.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas Baker and Rebecca NN----.

     Wilbur was born in 1815.¹ He was the son of Jonas Baker and Phebe Smith.

Luther was born circa 1819 at Sempronius, Cayuga County, New York.¹ He was the son of Jonas Baker and Phebe Smith.

     Lydia was born circa 1821 at Sempronius, Cayuga County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Jonas Baker and Phebe Smith.

     Eliza was born circa 1824 at Sempronius, Cayuga County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Jonas Baker and Phebe Smith.

     Anson was born circa 1827 at Sempronius, Cayuga County, New York.¹ He was the son of Jonas Baker and Phebe Smith.

     Warren was born circa 1829 at New York.^1,2 He was the son of Jonas Baker and Phebe Smith.

     Abijah was born on 25 October 1772.¹ He married Lydia Warren in 1792.² Abijah died on 16 July 1847 at New York at age 74.³

     
     
     
      They lived many years in a house built on a hilltonp near her father's home in Killingly, CT.. Abijah's is listed int he census of this town taken in 1820, but is not found in the 1830 census. He deeded land in Killingly to Dexter Handall May 18, 1825, and it would appear that he emigrated to Sempronius, Cayuga County, NY, soo afterwards. He was a farmer. In 1850 Lydia was living in Niles with her son Anthony. She is burried in the old Kelloggsville Cemetery.
     
     

Lydia was born on 30 January 1774 at Killingly, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of Ephraim Warren and Mary Brown. She married Abijah Smith in 1792.¹ Lydia died on 28 March 1861 Niles [Kelloggsville], New York, at age 87.²

     Sarah was born on 9 August 1772 at Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Crocker and Mary Hinckley. Sarah died in 1805.¹

     Joseph died. Joseph was born in August 1774 at Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Joseph Crocker and Mary Hinckley.
